Licton Springs K-8 is proud to be one of only eight schools nationwide selected to participate in the Beyond the Check-In initiative—led by SHAPE America and Cairn Guidance and funded by the CDC.
This grant supports school communities in promoting students’ mental, social, emotional, and sexual health through open, meaningful conversations and culturally responsive programming. We’re using this opportunity to build stronger connections between families and schools, promote media literacy, and support overall student well-being through activities, resources, and events—all shaped by and for our community.
